We’re delighted to be returning to Scarborough Castle this November as part of Scarborough Lights 2026.
Following two fantastic years on the Yorkshire coast, we’ll once again be lighting up the skies above one of England’s most iconic historic landmarks with a brand-new drone display created especially for the event.
Set high on the clifftop overlooking the North Sea, Scarborough Castle provides one of the most spectacular backdrops we’ve had the privilege of flying in. Combining centuries of history with cutting-edge drone technology creates a truly unique atmosphere, and we’re incredibly excited to be back for our third year.
A Scarborough Lights Favourite
Over the years, thousands of visitors have joined us at Scarborough Castle to watch stories unfold in the night sky above the ancient ruins.
The combination of the illuminated castle, the dramatic coastal setting and hundreds of synchronised drones has made this one of the highlights of the Scarborough Lights programme, and we’re looking forward to raising the bar once again in 2026.
Looking back through the photographs from last year’s event reminds us just how special this venue is. As the sun sets over Scarborough and darkness falls across the castle grounds, the atmosphere becomes something truly magical.

What’s New for 2026?
As always, no two FlightShows performances are ever the same.
For 2026, we’re creating a completely new aerial display exclusively for Scarborough Castle. Visitors can expect brand-new animations, fresh storytelling and some surprises along the way.
The show will feature 150 illuminated drones performing above the castle grounds, creating giant formations and animations in the sky accompanied by music and narration.
Whether you’re joining us for the first time or returning after attending previous years, there will be plenty of new moments to enjoy.

Tickets for the 2026 Drone Display at Scarborough Castle are on sale now.
The event takes place from 11th–15th November 2026, with the drone display beginning at approximately 6:30pm each evening.
If previous years are anything to go by, we expect demand to be high, so we’d recommend booking early to secure your preferred date.
We can’t wait to return to Scarborough this November and share another unforgettable evening beneath the stars.
